Yes, I have moved my practice to PureHealth Medical Center. My plan is to continue seeing my patients three days per week. I have joined Dr. Bryan Burns and Dr. Ann Karty, both board certified family physicians, along with the clinic staff, which includes two physician assistants and a nurse practitioner. Our group will provide coverage for my patients on the days I am not available. Dr. Burns is a past President of the Medical Staff of Olathe Medical Center. Dr. Karty serves as the Medical Director for Continuing Education for the American Academy of Family Physicians.

My office, PureHealth Medical Center, is located at 135th and Quivira. We are open 7 days a week including evenings. We will be able to offer you the normal primary care visit you are accustomed to plus immediate care/walk-in options. I think you’ll like the convenience of the new office.

We’ve answered a few “Frequently Asked Questions” for you below. I look forward to the transition and thank you in advance for working with us as we change to our new location.

Sincerely,
David E. Graham, MD

Where’s the new office?

Will PureHealth take MEDICARE? Yes, absolutely.

Why did you move? PureHealth allows me a little more flexibility in schedule and convenience. This  allows me to slow down a little but still provide quality services to you.

When? I’ll start seeing patients at the new location starting Tuesday, March 5, 2013. If you need to schedule an appointment after that date, please call 913-814-8800.

Questions? If you have any questions, please feel free to call the new office anytime at 913-814-8800.

What this mean to you? First, a new location and phone number. Second, a little better access to appointments. Shelly Diamond RN and I expect to provide you and your family the same services with the same level of quality and care.

Will PureHealth take my insurance? Yes. Please feel free to call and ask if you have questions.

Can I see any medical provider at PureHealth? Yes, you can. PureHealth is open 7 days a week as well as evenings. Primary care visits with me are made by appointment on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. But you are welcome to see any of our providers for immediate/urgent care needs on a walk-in basis or by appointment any day of the week.

Are you still affiliated with Olathe Medical Center? Absolutely.  As with several of the doctors at PureHealth, we value and maintain a great relationship with OMC.

What happens to my medical records? Your past records are maintained by OMC on their computer system. I will have access to them at PureHealth although we will be back to traditional charting at the new location. If you have any question about the transfer of records, please talk to Shelly or me at your next appointment.

If I have an HMO, or a PCP listed, is there anything I need to do extra? Yes, designation of a Primary Care Provider goes with the Physician Name and Address. So if you are required to designate a PCP, please contact your insurance company and make the change over to me at PureHealth. It should be that simple.
